An atomis the smallest unit of an element. If a bunch of atoms come together, they make amolecule. If a bunch of molecules come together, they make an organelle. If a bunch of organelles come together, they make a cell. If a bunch of cells come together, they make a tissue. If a bunch of tissues come together, they make an organ. If a bunch of organs come together, they make a system. If a bunch of systems come together, they create a complex multi cellular organism.
