Judy Simmons Once again Sally Hampton has organized her bunch of benevolent, volunteer

decorators who gather in mid November to work their magic in transforming the clubhouse into rooms and hallways fi lled with holiday splendor. These creative friends and neighbors help Sally to hang the holiday glitz that makes the clubhouse sparkle from the garland-festooned chandeliers and ballroom walls to the magnifi cent,

glittering trees and the tables laden with luscious greenery, pine cones and ribbon. Please join us in expressing our appreciation to all these people who generously shared their time and talents so that we might thoroughly enjoy our meetings and parties during this holiday season at the Ranch: Sally Baggott, Linda Becker, Glenda Brown, Barbara Cooper, Peggy Crandall, Bev Daly, Debbie DePasqual, Kathy Downer, Mitzie Fiedler, Sally Hampton, Linda Kurita, Jan Marx, Joan Petre, Tom Searles, Trudi Searles, Jan Utzman, Maureen Varnes, Katherine Vess and Terri Wynn. We extend a warm, sincere thank you to one and all for brightening our holiday season through your efforts.

The fall season had a ghoulish start but SCARYOKE was a great

success. On October 21, the clubhouse was invaded by Bikers, Dracula, Witches of every kind, Ghouls and Goblins, to mention just a few of the great costumes worn by enthusiastic residents, dancing and singing the night away. This fun event was followed on November 11 by the seriousness of the Veterans Day Memorial Service, two Choir Concerts and the Support Our Troops Silent Auction. The attendance at

M u s i the concerts was

phenomenal. Our residents came to honor all American veterans, from every war and military action, and to support and honor our service men and women serving around the world and at home. One hundred twenty two Robson veterans received free admission from the Music Club to the two concerts. Next year we hope there will be more of our own Robson Veterans in attendance. The choir performed many different types of patriotic music from Battle Hymn of the Republic to Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, accompanied by the Metroplex Brass, comprised of graduate and doctoral candidates from UNT and TWU: Ron Fink on drums
