Robson Ranch Women’s Club Holiday Market earns $7,000

the proceeds from The Holiday
Market on October 8 topped $7,000! The quality of the booths at the markets was exceptional. They thanked all the volunteers and the shoppers for making this event so successful. A special thank you was extended to Anne Owens and Tina Hoffenberg for their many hours of work on the market. President-elect

Luncheon Coordinator, Magrit Nigro. Treasurer Susie Carpenter announced
that the operating fund was $4,805. Membership is currently 327 members. The 2012 membership drive has begun. Membership
forms for 2012 may be
downloaded from the Women’s Club site on the HOA, fi lled out, and brought with a $15 check to the next meeting. Liz Dinkins for the Service Committee announced that they had collected $611 and 100 pounds of
food at
this meeting
for the Denton Food Bank. State legislation for 2011 was the topic
of the program presented by our State Legislator Jane Nelson. Senator Nelson discussed the highlights of the issues that the legislators decided this past session. She predicted that water conservation would be an issue for the next legislative session. Robson Ranch Women’s Club is open
to all women at the Ranch. Meetings are at the clubhouse on the fi rst Monday of the month at noon. Reservations, with a check for $14 for the luncheon, need to be placed in the Women’s Club mailbox at
the Sports Center Women’s lounge
by noon on the Wednesday before the luncheon. Join us for lunch, meet your neighbors and enjoy some wonderful programs!
