by Doug Robinson The Hudson Police Department is once again gearing up for their annual participation with the Salvation Army’s Toys for Tots program. Boxes have been decorated and will be placed at

the following locations for those who wish, to drop an unwrapped toy into the box: all Hudson elementary schools, Hudson Town Hall, Hudson Bridge Express (Gulf Station), Sousa Realty, and the Hudson Police Department. An addition box will also be placed at Annandale on the River Model Home on James Way in Litchfield. To supplement their drive, Hudson Police Officers will hold their annual drive at Wal-Mart on December 17 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. All toys collected will be donated to children in New Hampshire. “Times are tough on all of us, the economy is struggling, the jobless rate is climbing and there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. You

could be a shining ray of light this Holiday Season to a needy child here in New Hampshire. Your gift donation could be the one and only gift a child gets this year. Make that child’s face light up as they open that give on Christmas morning,” writes Hudson Police Officer Jim Stys.

Now Open!! Formerly Tokyo Joes Snoring Snoring

occurs when loose, fatty tissues,

located in the back of the throat, relax during sleep. As these tissues

collapse, air is forced through the shruken airway, producing vibrations in the back of the throat. Besides the unpleasant noise, the medical profession has noticed some correlation between snoring and other medical conditions. These may range from morning

headaches to chronic daytime fatigue to heart and respiratory conditions. Snoring can be treated with

different methods. The simplest, least obtrusive and most cost-effective involves fabrication of a mouthguard-like device. This acts to open and reposition the lower jaw slightly forward. This jaw position, in turn, acts to open the airway and eliminate the snoring sounds. The mouthguard-like device is remarkably comfortable and has reduced or eliminated snoring in the majority of individuals using it. .
