Chandler Christian Church’s annual budget informational meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sun., Dec. 3 in the chapel, with voting following services Dec. 10 and 11. New members are also invited for a behind-the-scenes look at Chandler Christian during its Backstage Pass Tour, during the second and fourth weekends every month. CARDS HELP FANS: Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation Sisterhood president Joyce Spartonos passes proceeds from the sale of Mah Jongg cards on to George Macedon of Fans Across America Charitable Foundation, with congratulations from Chandler Unified School District’s Martha Brown and Sisterhood advisor Flo Meisel. Sisterhood sells the Chinese game cards for $7 for regular size, and $8 for the large-print version. Proceeds benefit a variety of charities. Spirituality ‘Voices of Christmas’ sing


Sip tea when the Women’s Ministry of Chandler Christian Church holds its out in Sun Lakes Christmas Tea from 9 a.m. until noon, Sat., Dec. 3. The secular and the spiritual sounds of the season will be part of Sun Lakes United Methodist Church celebration of the seasons.


The month starts with The Interfaith Council of Greater Sun Lakes 2011 Chandler Symphony Holiday Benefi t Concert at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sun., Dec. 4. The $10 tickets can be purchased at the church offi ce.


The Church’s Chancel Choir will present “The Voices of Christmas,” a cantata by Joseph M. Martin at 8:15 a.m. and 10 a.m. Sun., Dec. 11 in the Church Sanctuary.


There will be two candlelight services on Christmas Eve at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., and a 9 a.m. Christmas worship service Sun., Dec. 25. All are invited to attend the cantata and any of the worship services.

Church musical performance highlights winter


“The Winter Rose,” a holiday program showcasing choirs and an orchestra, will be presented at Tri-City Baptist Church at 7 p.m. Fri., Dec. 9 and at 3 p.m. Sun., Dec. 11.
