WELCOME TO THE DECEMBER STOCKBRIDGE SPOTLIGHT
Welcome to this festive issue of the Stockbridge Spotlight. I always enjoy Christmas and putting together this issue where I can add lots of colour and festive images. I know things can get very hectic as you try to fit together Christmas shopping, writing the cards, wrapping presents, extra children’s activities (maybe even extra social activities for the parents!!) and food for that important Christmas lunch. But when the tree is up, presents wrapped and underneath it and the room has that festive feel I do feel very relaxed as we all sit round cuddled up on a cold night, maybe watching a family film together. It makes all the time and effort that has gone into getting things ready worth while.
This issue is full of Christmas spirit with tips for giving your room a festive feel, help with picking a real Christmas tree, a Christmas book review and, for those party nights, some ideas to increase the glamour. Even the crossword has taken on a festive look. And always remembering the religious element of Christmas, you will also find details on the community pages of some local church service.
