shopping experience. There is everything from homespun crafts to glamorous jewels and from desirable design to cool vintage. Finding unusual gifts will be a doddle this year. And it’s right on our doorstep.

he Design Den is a new pop- up shop in The Curve gallery space on the ground floor of the Barbican Centre. Open until 23rd December the Design Den offers a great mix of contemporary gift ideas, everything from small affordable stocking fillers to exclusive limited editions. There are ceramics, jewellery, furniture, books and stationery and all offer something a bit different from what is available on the high street. The Design Den has an extensive range of editions from Eyestorm, the UK’s leading online retailer of contemporary art. Presenting an array of high quality, signed and numbered limited edition prints by

both established and emerging artists such as Hamish Fulton and Alessandro Raho at a special instore rate. Look out for Barbican Limited Editions by leading artists, designers and architects including Damián Ortega, Ron Arad and Junya Ishigami which are also for sale.
