Inside children’s minds
Have you ever wondered what is going on in your children’s heads? What is it that makes them tick? A course will help people get to the bottom of these and many more questions.
How Our Children Learn is a free 10- week course, which strats on Wednesday, January 11, 7-9pm at St Edward’s Community Church, Badersfield.
During the last four years, more than 500 parents and people working in schools have had the opportunity to explore how the brain works and how people learn in different ways. This knowledge has led to a far
greater understanding of how our children learn and how parents can best support that learning.
The course can help parents to feel both more confident about themselves, and better able to support and motivate their children through their years in school, by offering the opportunity to learn fascinating things about their brains and how this knowledge can be used to help them understand how their children learn. Participants also have the opportunity to gain a nationally- recognised certificate at Level 1 or 2 from the Open College Network.
