Anne Gould meets the Ritchie family – singer, film star and entrepreneurs.


ith a film star, singer songwriter and two successful entrepreneurs in the family, the Ritchies from Suffolk seem


to have captured the very essence of success. Anne Gould talks to them about their careers and why they’ll always love home. If they’d grown up in LA, had rich and influential parents or come from a dynasty of actors or musicians it might be easier to explain. But for the Ritchie brothers and sister growing up in what’s considered by some to be 'sleepy' Suffolk hasn’t hindered their rise to fame and fortune one bit. Reece has recently starred in The


Lovely Bones, Peter Jackson’s movie of the best selling book of the same name. Singer and songwriter sister Ria has been plucked from the obscurity of YouTube covers to work with Plan B and is shortly releasing her first single. Ross is ploughing a different


furrow, but one that deserves a nod of recognition from our political masters for an innovative and highly successful scheme to get disenchanted youths to re-engage with school and learning. And mum Jayne is a entrepreneur in her own right - she set up BodyChef back in 2003 which has since gone nationwide and has customers including the likes of Dannii Minogue.
