Parents ‘reluctant to leave money to married children in their wills – in case they get divorced’

A third of parents are reluctant to leave money to their married children when they die in case they get divorced, re- search indicates.

Some 35 per cent of parents said they

were unwilling to leave an inheritance as their child's spouse could end up with some of the assets in the event of a split, according to investment management fi rm Rensburg Sheppards. One in four parents admitted that they

were not confi dent their children's mar- riages would last.

But 72 per cent said they would like to see pre-nuptial agreements become legally binding in the UK, as this would enable them to make gifts to their chil- dren, safe in the knowledge that if they later got divorced, the money would still

benefi t their child. Source: Telegraph http://tgr.ph/uD0J5D

Hollywood actress Demi Moore has announced that she is divorcing her toy boy husband Ashton Kutcher of six years, following months of infi delity rumours.

The couple sent out not-so-subtle hints of marital trouble on Twitter last month, as rumours emerged that 33- year-old Ashton was playing away from home with women decades younger than his 49-year-old wife. But with a broken heart and a bruised

reputation to repair - not to mention their joint $290 million fortune to divide - what will Demi do next?
