SLEEPAWAYCAMP NT we value CARING CAMP HENRY HIRD Grades 8-10


Filled with adventure and challenge, Camp Henry Hird offers a resident camp experience for teens, and encourages initiative and leadership skills. Grounded by teamwork, our focus is on fostering an appreciation for one’s self worth and the value of others. Campers are given broader choices, including extended overnights, Ultimate Sicko Ball, big brother/sister events, and the excitement of learning what it is to be a leader. The end result: Hird campers exceed their own expectations in developing strong bonds, the self-confidence to lead and the poise to become role models for others. Village assignments are coordinated by school grade and gender: Sacky/Hemlock (girls/boys grade 8), Tacoma/Lenape (girls/boys grade 9), Windsong/ PAC (girls/boys grade 10).
