GUINNESS WORLD RECORD Attempt for Carol Singing comes to Saltburn…

On Sunday 18th December at 6.30pm at Emmanuel Church you have the chance to take part in a Guinness World Record attempt for the largest number of people singing carols together across multiple locations. During ‘Carols by Candlelight’ we shall sing a selection of the most well known and well loved carols including Silent Night, O Come all Ye Faithful, and O Little Town of Bethlehem. All you have to do is come along and break into song. And after all the singing stay and enjoy a mince pie and a glass of mulled wine. Furthermore, in this season of goodwill, during the evening there will be a collection for the homeless charity ‘Crisis’.

THE CHRISTMAS CHILD

‘The divine child fulfils the promise. It is only where he is awaited that he is received. Otherwise no child is born for us tonight. But where he is accepted he exceeds every expectation.’ (Jean-Marie Lustiger)

This December, are you able to make the time to wait, to receive and to accept the gift offered?
