2. STRUCTURE IN THE STUDY PROGRAMME


VU University Amsterdam offers structure by imposing clear requirements. At the end of each academic year, students receive a study recommendation. Where required, they advise students about their approach to studying, the progress of their studies, and about possible careers.


GRADUATE SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS MASTER’S PROGRAMMES AT GSEB


The VU University Amsterdam Graduate School of Economics and Business is part of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of VU University Amsterdam. This is a medium-sized faculty, with 5,400 students (overall there are 25,000 VU Students) and 460 members of staff. The Graduate School itself offers eight Master’s degree programmes and has approximately 1,900 students. The school’s eight Master’s degree programmes all open up excellent


career prospects. They have been accredited by the Accreditation Organization of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO). Upon successful completion of the course, you will have obtained specialist knowledge in the area of your specialisation and you will receive an internationally recognized Master of Science degree (MSc):
