How to Apply
The entry requirements for postgraduate study differ dependent upon the level of qualification to be gained.
Some postgraduate degrees require the minimum entry requirement of a bachelor degree, deemed to be the equivalent to an Australian bachelor degree, but for others previous study in a particular subject area or work experience or prior learning will enable you to meet the entry requirements.
International Students
International students must satisfy English language proficiency and academic requirements. Entry requirements vary depending on the program and may depend on your academic performance and, in some instances, relevant work experience. You must provide evidence of your qualifications from a recognised institution. At the time of writing, international student applicants from countries determined by Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) to be Assessment Levels 3 and 4 must provide a satisfactory Academic IELTS test score when applying for a student visa. When to apply?
Commencement dates for most postgraduate programs are generally in February or July. A number of programs are also available for commencement in November. We encourage you to submit your application early, as late applications will be considered subject to availability of places in the course(s) being applied for. Applications to undertake a research degree will be accepted all year round.
