UNIVERSITY OF SAN
FRANCISCO Change The World From Here
Students choose USF
for all sorts of reasons. Some students come to USF because they’re seeking a rigorous academic experience in small classes with top professors. Others come looking for an education in the Jesuit tradition, with its commitment to social justice. Some students choose USF because we’re one of the most diverse universities in America. Some come to take advantage of the many international opportunities we offer. And of course, some come to us because we’re the University of San Francisco.

place. The University of San Francisco’s campus sits on 55 acres in the heart of the city of San Francisco. The city of San Francisco, or “The City” as locals call it, is the number one tourist destination in the country. For USF students, the city is their extended classroom as it opens doors to internships, volunteer opportunities, the arts, professional and club sports, live music, world foods, theater, opera and dance.

Graduate Admission
The University prepares graduate students to act as thoughtful, just, and skilled leaders of an increasingly global community. Our rigorous and thorough approach to classroom learning and real world experience, leads our students to find success in any number of fields, from boardrooms to courtrooms to classrooms around the world. We offer over 50 graduate programs, at the master and doctorate levels, in five different schools – School of Nursing and Health Professions,
School of Education, School of Law, School of Management and College of Arts and Sciences.
USF’s relatively small size belies the breadth of our graduate curriculum and the unique opportunities that come from working so closely with our outstanding faculty – over 90% of whom have obtained Ph.Ds or other terminal degrees in their fields.
Many of our programs are designed to accommodate working professionals, with features like spring and fall admission and flexible class schedules. The bulk of USF’s graduate programs are based on our main campus, located in the heart of San Francisco—but our four regional campuses offer graduate studies as well.
