Welcome Letter


2011 was another positive year for Spearhead, as we continue to expand our client portfolio, not just across the region, but also into other continents. Most recently we conducted a course in China for a Dubai-based customer, and are now looking to run courses for clients in a number of African countries during the coming year.


One of the most interesting questions we are sometimes asked is: “How do you measure the effectiveness of soft skills training?” This is a very important question. After all, if we cannot answer that, then why are we in business at all?


As a training company we use five clear levels for measuring training effectiveness. The first level is delegates having a positive reaction to the programme. There are then four other levels, rising up to level 5, where there is a measurable and tangible result that means the company has achieved an excellent Return On Investment. It is very important that we get our client companies up to that significant fifth level.


That is why our ‘Partnership Process’ with our clients is so important. If we can get them to Level 5 then there are very positive benefits from the training which have a significant impact on their whole business. Our Business Development Managers would be happy to discuss this methodology with you.


New Offices


After fourteen years in the same building, we took a strategic decision at the beginning of 2011 to move into larger, purpose- designed offices to cater for our growing business needs. The new offices now have all our Head Office operations in one place, and have given us additional space for expansion over the next three years. We hope to see many of you visit the new offices - which are conveniently located close to our previous offices, in a purpose built facility. This relocation is aimed at providing even better customer service to our clients over the coming years.
