Cupaz have a broad section of clients including government departments, small businesses, and professionals. Apart from continually nurturing key client relationships, they are also looking at their client and referral base to ensure a smoother and more constant volume of sales.


Review2: Supply chain


The industry saw a dip in revenues around 2009 but turnover is now back to 2007 levels. The recession was a great opportunity to review and streamline their supply chain together with performing an overhaul of their cost base. They have managed to maintain their margins through some clever and innovative purchasing.


They spent time understanding the effect a lower volume of business would have on their cash flow and expenses and began implementing appropriate measures to ensure the survival of the business. They now understand the ‘hidden costs of the recession’. The process has made their business more effective and efficient and ready for further growth.


Review3: The Team


Employees drive an organization because they create its inspiration, creativity, motivation and success. That’s what is important. Stuart and John are looking to grow the business to about 10 to 12 employees. They recognise that a business is only as good as its staff. One of the biggest challenges a business owner has to face is finding the right people to build it. They understand this is going to be key to successful growth.

They have identified key areas for business development improvements. The main area being the company’s website, which was devised in the days when you just put up a website to provide information and alleviate concerns from prospects that you are not just a flight by night operator- to reassure them you have a legitimate business. It is not generating leads and it is an area they are looking at rectifying and see a huge upside.


The Future
