Having sunk their savings into the property they were not in position to pack up and leave, so another option had to be found. After much online research David came across an open source technology called Orgonite, derived from the work of Wilhelm Reich, an Austrian- American scientist who had identified a form of energy that he called Orgone. More importantly Reich had also found that it was possible to manipulate this energy by using a combination of organic material and metal placed alongside each other in layers – Orgonite.
Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained
As David says, “We have both always dabbled in healing, so we have an intrinsic understanding of life-energy and how it can be channelled for healing benefits. We wanted to run away but financially but we couldn’t, so we tried this technique.” They managed to get some materials together and make some simple devices which they then planted in the ground around the property and in the water table in the village. “Very quickly we both noticed a dramatic change, Margie never had a night terror again and the whole energy of the area changed. The place felt bright and fresh whereas before it had felt dark and oppressive.”
About 8 years ago, an opportunity arose for them to move to New Zealand. But, what would the two new migrants from Kenya who used to run a business taking tourists to swim with dolphins do in New Zealand? Why not help others with what they had learnt from their ordeal? After all, they knew the technology worked, but the majority of the public were not aware of it, but could benefit from it.
Fresh from the success of ridding themselves of bad energy in Kenya, David got some materials together to make a few early devices designed to harness energy flows and harmonise the environment. The couple decided to market their products initially through new age fairs and women’s shows, so they hit the road with their newly designed energy- balancing devices and sold an awful lot.
“People reported back to us with all kinds of benefits, people were sleeping better, feeling the energy around their homes was fresher and better. People were blown away. We were able to travel in New Zealand and, at the same time, we created a foundation for our business.” David
The benefits of putting in the ground work and explaining their products to people face-to- face were immense but nowadays Life Energy Designs runs primarily through their website, as trade shows take a whole lot of time and energy.
Belief Is The Key To Success
David and Margie attribute their success to complete and utter naivety. Says Margie: “Quite honestly, we were so naïve, we didn’t really know the extent of what our products could do.
