Steve’s first passion was football. His dream was to secure a career as a football coach. He decided to do a Personal Training course to add to his football coaching skills. This is when he discovered he really enjoyed one-on-one training with people and realised how it can turn people’s lives around. His business was born just 3 years ago.
Steve’s background, passion and interests have helped him tap into several health markets. They have clients who want to lose weight, others who are looking to get relief from an old injury such as back pain and finally, those who need specific rehabilitation after surgery.
“Our approach is a personal one, which is sadly lacking in the gyms operating in the mass market. Those gyms use a business model that takes advantage of a passive clientele- those who pay and become disinterested but are locked into a membership contract they cannot get out of. We do not want to operate this way. It is important that our clients get real tangible personal wellbeing benefits from our membership.” Steve
Steve has noticed that more of his clients are attuned to the concept of wellness derived from the right level of exercise and better nutrition. This promotes better vitality, more resistance to stress, a strengthened immune system, and better sleep. Steve adds, “This makes a huge difference in our clients’ life. This is what our clients are looking for.”
Cre8 Health and Fitness has a team of dedicated passionate trainers. They are passionate about making a difference in their clients’ life. They aim to be the best educators they can be and are forever updating their knowledge.
“We seek to keep ourselves abreast of the current thinking in the health and fitness world and to interpret these and apply them to our business. All our trainers attend regular seminars and training courses with those we consider to be the leading lights in our industry,” says Steve.
Steve sees many exciting opportunities for his business and the fitness industry as a whole. One of those opportunities is to grow the sports rehabilitation side of his business by offering complementary services to feed into sports clubs. He also recognizes the need to address the increasing problem of obesity in the UK. He wants to grow the brand by taking a pro-active educational role within the wider community on health and fitness issues. Steve says “By taking our business to the next level and increasing people’s awareness of the Cre8 brand we are faced with a very exciting opportunity.”
And there is more, lots more. Steve has identified another opportunity that calls to be unlocked. Steve explains, “I see the development of our business in the corporate world as being very important. If we are able to operate in partnership with a number of businesses, that view health in the work place as an important initiative, then we will be on the right track. This will not only help individuals overall health and wellbeing, but will have an enormous benefit to employers who should start to see absenteeism rates fall and employee satisfaction improve.
BIG Opportunity Health In The Workplace
“The key to growth and new opportunities will very much involve staying ahead of the game and recognizing innovation in the industry and new services that we can offer to our clients,” says Steve.
