Diners have two options to choose from at the Crowne Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort on Thu., Nov. 24.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Thanksgiving Day Buffet offers omelet and waffle stations, cranberry- walnut French toast, a variety of breakfast meats, eggs Benedict with hollandaise sauce, O’Brien breakfast potatoes and a pancetta, spinach, mushroom and tomato frittata.
The cold fare display features a variety of fruits, cheeses, salads, seafood and breads. For a main entree, try the salmon with tomato-fennel sauce, pork loin with spiced apple chutney, traditional roasted turkey or slow-roasted prime rib. End the meal on a sweet note with a variety of cakes, cookies, tarts and pastries. A complimentary glass of champagne or sparkling cider is included as well.
The cost is $38.95 per adult, $18.95 for ages 4 to 12 and free for ages 3 and younger. A 20 percent gratuity will be added to the bill.
From 5 to 9 p.m., AJ’s Restaurant offers a classic Thanksgiving dinner consisting of choice of soup, salad, main entree and dessert for $27.95. Main course selections are an 8-ounce Black Angus filet mignon, prime rib with au jus or horse radish crusted salmon. Sides and veggies are paired with the entrees. Finish the meal with eggnog cheesecake, five-layer chocolate cake, cheesecake with strawberry compote or pie.

Dinner A’Fare Grab & Go While Dinner A’Fare is usually known as a place to make your own meals for take-home, the facility offers a special Thanksgiving Grab & Go package that requires no prep work. Just pick it up and bake it at home. The prepared meal serves eight and includes a 4-pound turkey breast, cranberry sauce, gravy, sour cream and chive mashed potatoes, apple raisin stuffing, broccoli and cheddar bake, and bread pudding bars with vanilla crème. Free ‘Thanks Giving’
More than 500 children, families and “lost souls” are expected to be fed at Gospel 4 Life Church’s 9th Annual Thanksgiving Day Citywide Feast from 5 to 8 p.m. Wed., Nov. 23 at the Chandler Christian Community Center. Local residents and “all saints” are invited to attend.

Prix Fixe Thanksgiving menu is available at Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa’s Ko’Sin restaurant from noon to 3 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m. Thu., Nov. 24. Menu highlights include butternut squash bisque with sweet potato bread croutons; pan-seared pumpkin gnocchi; choices of slow-cooked holiday prime rib, Hudson Valley duck, all-natural turkey breast; crispy game hen rubbed with saguaro barbecue lacquer or a seafood option; with sweet potato bread stuffing and black garlic whipped potato mash. The feast concludes with choice of dessert.
The meal is $60 for adults and $55 for seniors, with a smaller version of the traditional turkey dinner available for $25 for children 12 and younger.
