One of the largest and highest-ranked business schools in the United States is coming to Chandler’s Price Corridor, according to the Chandler city offi cials. Arizona State University is locating its newest W.P. Carey Evening MBA and Custom Corporate MBA programs to the southeast corner of Chandler Boulevard and the Price 101 Freeway in an executive offi ce park called Chandler 101, to be developed by The Rockefeller Group on the north end of Chandler’s Price Corridor. City officials say this master’s of business administration degree program will be the fi rst of its kind in Chandler, and will complement the Price Corridor’s economic development strategy of recruiting high-tech, high-wage employers.

“Chandler has been working diligently to bring an added educational presence to our city,” says Mayor Jay Tibshraeny. “ASU makes a great addition to the Price Corridor, which attracts high-profi le businesses and an educated workforce.”

Because the Price Corridor is home to six miles of large-campus, high-wage employers, ASU President Michael M. Crow says this location allows ASU to reach a large executive workforce in a convenient location. “Bringing ASU’s highly-ranked MBA programs to Chandler offers the opportunity for ASU to provide a stellar business education to working professionals in the area that ultimately will benefi t the state’s economy,” Crow explains.

The W. P. Carey School of Business at ASU, currently ranked 17th among all part-time MBA programs by U.S. News & World Report, will offer its prestigious evening MBA program for professionals who want to “broaden managerial and professional expertise” along with an option for custom corporate MBA programs. Chandler 101 will include 844,000 square feet on 24
