Midwest ButterBurgers coming to Chandler

A new hamburger franchise opens in Chandler Dec. 5, as Culver’s from Wisconsin brings its signature ButterBurgers to town along with about 70 part- and full-time jobs.

When completed at the Park at SanTan development at 3155 W. Ray Rd., on the southwest corner at the Price Loop 101 Freeway, Culver’s will have dine-in seating, a drive through window and take-out service. Signature menu items include frozen custard, a premium ice cream made fresh throughout the day and the ButterBurger – which refers to an added touch to the bread for the sandwich the company says is made from fresh, never-frozen U.S. beef.

”The ButterBurger gets its name from a touch of real Wisconsin butter lightly brushed on the crown of the bun before it is toasted to a golden brown,” says company representative Brian Farrell.

He also says local charities stand to benefit from the new location as well. Culver’s supports local communities with its Annual Day of Giving program, where the company donates 10 percent of sales to charitable organizations within each Culver’s community for an entire day.

Culver’s is a franchise with more than 400 independently owned and operated restaurants in 18 states, according to the company’s website. For more information, visit www.culvers.com, www.culvers.com/facebook, or www.twitter.com/culvers.
