The Lake County Campus of Robert Morris University is located at 1507 S. Waukegan Rd. in Waukegan. As a private non-profit, accredited, baccalaureate and graduate degree granting institution, RMU offers many program options for students. It has a year-round accelerated schedule that allows students to complete their bachelor’s degree in less than four years with a graduation rate of over 80%; the national average is less than 65%. RMU is the seventh largest private university in Illinois with the largest athletic program of any private college in the state. It has over 50 exciting intercollegiate athletic teams and is a state leader in providing educational opportunities for women.
Robert Morris University provides more than $20 Million in scholarships annually and is considered to be one of the most affordable private universities in Illinois. Besides merit-based scholarships and need-based
financial aid, qualifying students are also eligible for government grants, student loans, athletic and competitive scholarships and the Federal Work Study program. Students possessing an ACT score of 21 or higher may qualify for Academic Excellence Awards ranging from $8,000 to
all hold MA, MBA, EdD or PhD degrees and many have been practitioners in their fields, bringing to their classes a genuine understanding of the current needs in the business world, art, health care, culinary or technology fields.

With a hands-on, team approach, Robert Morris University teaches the skills that employers desire in job candidates. Each student has access to an academic advisor who provides guidance throughout the duration of his or her degree program, a financial aid advisor who assists with all areas of financial need and the admissions advisor who facilitates entrance to the University. A comprehensive Career Management Training curriculum provides four years of preparation for a successful job search with a dynamic resume, practice interviews and a student credential transcript highlighting on- and-off campus involvement and college experiences in areas like critical thinking and leadership. Internships for academic credit in the various fields are a requirement for graduation.
The Lake County campus
hosts day and evening programs in Computer Automated Drafting and Design (CAD), Health Studies (Medical Assisting), Business Administration, Computer Networking and the Morris Graduate School of Management. All programs prepare the student to sit for the certifications in their particular industry. A student also has the opportunity to complete the Dual Degree Program which allows them to earn an undergraduate and graduate degree simultaneously in four years.
