Musical Theater Directing Workshop: June 23–30, 2012


Are you an up-and-coming stage director looking for a seat in the director’s chair? In this rich and intensive one-week training program, participants will gain first-hand experience in the elements of directing a musical theater production, including script analysis, stagecraft, production and rehearsal techniques. Before the end of the week, participants will have the opportunity to prepare and direct musical theater scenes employing Boston Conservatory student performers.


In addition to earning 48 Professional Development Points (PDPs), participants will emerge with the knowledge, experience and confidence needed to direct their first or their next musical theater production.
