The magic of rails golden age has been brought to life in Kilmeadan. Buy your ticket in a converted Irish Rail Carriage. Meet the conductor to have your ticket checked. Enjoy a 12km round trip through the countryside and along the banks of the River Suir on a narrow gauge railway.
Train Schedule
Monday to Saturday Sunday
April to September 11am to 3pm 12noon to 4pm
May to August 11am to 4pm 12noon to 5pm
Directions: Follow the Cork Road, N25 through the River Suir toll bridge to Carrick Road Roundabout. Take the last turn off the roundabout. Kilmeadan Station entrance is on the left.
