East Coast Youth Jazz Festival November 26-27

The Fife Youth Jazz Orchestra will host the second East Coast Youth Jazz Festival. The young Fife musicians (FYJO) will be joined by

the Edinburgh Schools Jazz Orchestra (ESJO) and the Aberdeen City Music School (Dyce Grooves) for a weekend of jazz education and collaborative workshops. 60 young musicians, from age 10-18, will gather together to learn a variety of techniques and new pieces of music, ranging from blues to funk to latin. The Festival closes with a public concert on Sunday 27th November, from 4pm-6pm - two hours of swinging foot-tapping music, ranging from blues to funk to latin! The concert will be held in Trinity Church, Sinclair Drive, Cowdenbeath and tickets (£5/£4) are available
