These have ranged from the contemporary Torpoint Ferry control building on the banks of the Tamar to alterations to Carnyorth Environmental Education Centre down towards Land’s End. Lloyd was particularly pleased with a project to alter and extend Roche Pebbles Children and Family Centre for the Roche Learning Village Partnership. The brief was to extend the building by 50 per cent to enable the centre to enhance the services it offered. Lloyd consulted with Wernick Buildings when designing an


extension using the same offsite fabricated, serviced modular construction as the original building. Centre manager Helen Jolliffe said: ‘I found Lloyd to be extremely reliable, professional and approachable, always taking into account personal building requirements - adapting drawings appropriately. I would not hesitate in using Lloyd in the future or in recommending him to other businesses.’
