New plant opens

JABEZ is not a new name to the concrete industry in Cornwall - we have been supplying readymixed concrete, screed and mortar out of our Camelford plant since 2002 to the construction, civil engineering and agricultural markets across North Cornwall. We have now opened a new computerised concrete plant on the Pennygillam Industrial Estate, Launceston, in order to increase our existing customer base and reach a larger market. We are constantly looking for


new ways to help our present and future customers improve the way we all work, and considering the environment is one of our priorities, so when we took the giant step of purchasing a new concrete plant we chose a plant that will thoroughly mix different materials - even recycled aggregates to a very high standard. It is a Wet Type using a 1.5m3 Twin Shaft Mixer capable of mixing 60 cubic metres per hour.


It is also environmentally


friendly, producing less dust, less noise and less pollution and can also supply high specification cement bound material (CBM, highways specification) for road, sub base or pavement quality


concrete for you to collect in your own tippers.


Of course, our speciality is


delivering direct to site using our fleet of 8m3, 6m3 or 3m3 truck mixers and tippers. Conveyors are available and pumps can be organised for you as well. We are currently in the process of supplying a large quantity of reinforced structural fibre concrete, which reduces the need for steelmesh, an important factor when taking into account the rising cost of both steel and labour - this is just one of many specialist concrete products we are able to supply. We understand the current market trends and offer high quality concrete to meet your specifications whilst continuing with our competitive pricing policy.


All our concrete is produced to BS 8500 - EN 206 under the BSI Kitemark scheme. We are presently developing a


new range of Jabez mixes to cater for every aspect of the market, each designed to maximize durability and strength, and most importantly save the customer money, without compromising on quality.
