PLASA review White Light

“PLASA put on a great show once again this year,” comments White Light’s Managing Director, Bryan Raven, “and we were delighted to be part of it. We were thrilled that so many friends and colleagues from around the world turned out to celebrate our birthday. One or two of them have been customers since the company began! At the same time, the new products from the manufacturers in our White Light Zone showed the kind of innovation we will see through our next forty years.” www.whitelight.ltd.uk

Architainment

This year’s PLASA show offered Architainment Lighting the opportunity to catch up with longstanding industry friends, and also form working relationships with new faces in the industry. The show was a really exciting time for new rental company, Dry Hire Lighting (DHL), who shared stand 1-E47 with Architainment. DHL used PLASA as the ideal opportunity to launch the business. As always, PLASA provided the chance for Architainment to showcase the latest lighting technology and share the fantastic results achieved with these products on our projects nationwide. www.architainment.co.uk

Alderamin Group

Alderamin Group, the international lighting projects specialist, made a stylish and successful industry debut at PLASA 2011. The centrally located stand — with its minimalist white space and dramatic LED overhead feature — proved irresistible to many, significantly raising the Group’s profile and generating considerable sales activity. Comprised of industry veterans Artistic Licence Engineering, Artistic Licence Integration and Ptarmigan Integration, along with the newly formed technical sales company Ten Thousand Things, Alderamin Group achieves a synergy that was very much in evidence at the show. www.alderamingroup.com

Goboland

Goboland Worldwide reported one of the best PLASA shows to date. Gobo keyfob tokens were given away to celebrate the newley designed Goboland UK website; “Everyone was thrilled to receive their tokens for a free gobo from the Black Steel Collection of designs,” says Goboland UK Director, Vicky Fairall. “Furthermore, our collaboration with The Projection Studio has resulted in a growing library of Goboland GoboSlides for customers to choose from, with images drawn from The Projection Studio’s broad range of source material. Our custom service has gone down particularly well, with orders coming in even before the show had finished.” www.goboland.com
