Sweep boosts charity with festive grotto
A SWEEP Plus, which has a flexible approach to fitting in with customers’ requirements, is run by chimney sweep Colin Adams. Based in Black Torrington, near Beaworthy, Colin is a member of the National Association of Chimney Sweeps (NACS) which operates to a strict code of practice and conduct and is also approved by HETAS. By working in partnership with local builders and private homeowners, services such as the removal of bird nests, installation of cowls and bird guards, and smoke testing are available in addition to chimney sweeping.
Colin is a keen fundraiser - he and his family will be opening up their large garage in Black Torrington to visitors over Christmas and the New Year. Members of the public are welcome to visit the walk-in grotto, filled with snowmen, music and lights. This year’s charity is the Alzheimer's Research Trust. For more information, email colin@a-sweep-
