by Len Lathrop The threat of snow did not stop the Cross Border Business Expo from happening Thursday, October 27 Rockingham Park. Over 77 businesses set up booths for the largest business event in Southern New Hampshire made possible through the combined efforts of the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Haverhill (MA) chamber of Commerce. The primary sponsor was Pentucket Bank who are members of both Chambers with branches in Haverhill, Salem and Hampstead. From 3 to 7 p.m., visitors roamed the


Rockingham Race Track complex visiting with the businesses, sampling their product, learning about their service, and even some eight week old Retriever puppies. The expo was free to the public. Attendees had an opportunity to see the Red Sox World Series trophies, get an autograph from Red Sox legend Rico Petrocelli, and win a Bahamas cruise.
