NEWS Community rallies for youth when freezer breaks
Hamilton’s Living Rock ministry was dealt a blow when their freezer— which stores enough food for 900 meals each week—broke down in the middle of summer. But what might have been a tragedy turned into a bless- ing when an outpouring of gifts and donations not only took care of the freezer repair, but also breathed new life into the youth ministry.
Water Ambassadors looking for volunteers
More than 200 Canadians have joined Water Ambassadors on their well- digging and installation strips since 2003, but more volunteers are needed. “We’re looking for regular, every day people who want to do something significant,” says Water Ambassadors Canada founder Barry Hart.
