STORY A Flight for the Mares Camera: Nikon D2X, 200.0-400.0 mm f/4.0, ISO 200

I've never been overly excited about Zebras but this day in the Masai Mara National Reserve changed my mind. We were driving along slowly, always on the scout for the excitement of nature. As we passed through a large herd of Zebras, two males began to battle. There was a lot of action, most of it unfortunately at quite a distance. I put on a longer lens and started to shoot and as the two males came closer one tried desperately to take a chunk out of the others neck. From this shoot came A Fight for the Mares.
