Razorbacks Game Report- continued from page 9 Then with the ball on the Capitols 30 yard

line, Pelham put the ball in the hands of Jimmy ‘Jimbo’ Langenfeld, who tore through the Capitols defense and sprinted in the end zone for Pelham’s fourth touchdown of the day. Pelham’s Dylan Santosuosso, Eli Nicolopoulos and Zack Jones provided superior blocking that allowed Mason Fecteau to pound through the line and earn the team’s only extra point of the day. Late in the third quarter the Capitols mounted their bests drive of the game, but it would not come easy as the Razorback players made them earn every yard behind hard hitting and tackles by Alex Laforge, Corey Mercier, Eddie Ayotte, Xavier Mondejar and Dylan Santosuosso. Pelham continued moving the ball and expanded on its passing arsenal, completing its second pass of the day to Cam Hyder. Then, in keeping with Pelham’s plan of ‘keep it in the air,’ Razorback’s quarterback, Jaxon Snyder, saw no open receivers and ran it 45 yards to the end zone for the Pelham’s fifth touchdown of the day. Pelham ended the day just as it had started, with strong, hard fought runs. Brady Valliere and Billy Ryder carried Capitols defenders on their backs while they pushed for Razorback gains. The Razorbacks were without Jake ‘Cheech’ Micciche, due to an injury, but are eagerly anticipating his return for the team’s final game. The Razorback’s victory in game number seven moves their record to an undefeated 6‐0‐1 on the season. Razorbacks 4th Grade: Pelham Razorbacks 34, Milford Mustangs 0 The Pelham 4th Grade Razorbacks moved to 7-0 on the season by corralling the Milford Mustangs in a 34-0 victory Sunday Morning. While the final score would indicate a one sided rodeo, this was certainly no easy round up at the outset. On a chilly autumn morning, over the frozen tundra of Milford, the horses were chomping at the bit to tussle with the Razorbacks. The Mustangs, looking to defend their home field, started out with a stampede, connecting on long passes and opening up the playbook in an attempt to crack the ferocious Razorbacks defense. Despite tackling by Kyle Baker, Steve Petrillo and Charlie Katin, strong running by the Mustangs, mixed in with some elusive passes opened up the field for the home team, who took the opening kick-off and drove down to the Razorbacks 1 yard line. The balanced attack was barely staved off when Ethan Ford made a touchdown saving tackle, denying the Milford running back pay dirt with a clutch stop at the goal line, denying the Mustangs points. From there, Mason Belskey and

boys from the PMS boys soccer team for playing all 3 years for your school ! It was so nice at the awards banquet watching all the other sport coaches give plaques and medals to their 3 year 8th grade players, and yet so disappointing to see your coach not even acknowledge either of you.....so here is a big thumbs up and a big THANK YOU for your 3 years of hard work, dedication and great plays!!!!!!”

“Thumbs down to Pelham’s Planning Department. Tom

Wakefield was merely the tip of a very large problem of the growing Nanny State Pelham’s Planning Director is creating.”

“Thumbs up to the amazing citizens of

Windham who came out to support the Friends of the Library of Windham on Tuesday night!!!!”

“Thumbs up to Ms Mahoney! They’ll never admit it (or say they’re sorry), but you have once again proven to the Pelham School Board and budget committee that you were right all along. We miss you and need you on the school board! Come back!”

“Thumbs down to former State Representative

on 111 in Windham for fixing my generator in a matter of hours. Your fast, friendly service and very reasonable rates are much appreciated.”

“Thumbs up to Brian and Gill Banes info packet – the best high school solution. After all, they corrected and solved Salem High’s negative school problem, so they can certainly correct Pelham High’s issues. I have heard the crazy idea of busing Pelham kids to Salem, so the school must now be suitable. Keep up the good work, Brian. With this affordable solution the Pelham voters can and will support this.

“Thumbs down to Comcast for their ‘Digital Upgrade’.

All TVs must have either a free ‘Digital Adapter’ that converts high quality HD video to basically 1980’s quality video, or you can pay more and install HD cable boxes on ALL your TVs. So much for those new flat screens we all bought with their own digital tuners that have worked just fine for HD for local channels - now you can’t even see WMUR in HD unless you pay for a big converter cable box - with another remote control and yet another power plug in the wall - not very green of them. There is no technical reason for this; it’s all about their ability to make you pay more for less service and the monopoly that is Comcast.”

“Thumbs up to Public schools for lowering the standards of education. Poor curriculum and mob mentality help ease the student’s transition to prison life.”

“Thumbs up to the kindergarten’s school addition and the use of the empty municipal rooms of the SAU. This is the way to maximize and utilize what we already own. Two down, one high school addition renovation to go. Keep up the good work, Brian.”

Jake Dunlap pushed the onslaught back, and shut down the Mustangs’ drive, giving the Razorbacks offense the ball at their own 10 yard line. Without hesitation, Pelham-Windham all-

star “Touchdown” Tommy Doe put on a display of speed and power, bursting through a hole set up by blocks from Riley Bassett and Mason Belsky. Number 32 busted out of the shoot and took the outside rail, galloping 90 yards for a Razorbacks touchdown. Jake Dunlap crashed through the perimeter to deliver a conversion, giving the Razorbacks a 7-0 lead. The Mustangs again looked to battle through the air, attempting a barrage of passes over the Razorbacks defense. The Razorback defenders shifted their tactics and sniffed out the passes with a mighty snout, with Derek Crowley stopping a bubble screen attempt to force a fumble and defensive back Ethan Ford driving past the Mustangs to wrestle away the football. With the ball back in the pigs’ possession, the Razorback’s efficient offense was poised for attack. Running back Tommy “Bubbles” Ouellette exploded for a nifty 55 yard run down the right side, setting up the Razorbacks at the 5 yard line. From there, Eddie Shlimon delivered the Razorbacks’ second TD, motoring through the left side into the end zone. Shlimon delivered the conversion with a bruising effort, pounding through the tackles to bring the score to 14-0. The next defensive series started with Mason Belsky wreaking havoc behind the Mustangs line on consecutive plays, delivering a crushing tackle for a loss on a runner and then crashing through the line for a devastating QB sack. Evan Haskins delivered a big tackle on third down and Derek Crowley stopped the Mustangs just shy of the first down marker on fourth down, setting up the potent pig offense again. On a QB keeper, Jake Dunlap delivered a crushing stiff arm and broke loose for an electrifying 70 yard run, only to have it called back to the 30 yard line on a penalty with 4.7 seconds left in the half. With plenty of time for the Razorbacks offense left on the clock, Dunlap this time followed the vicious blocking of backfield partner Tommy Doe, and rushed through the Mustangs defense for the touchdown to close out the half. Tommy Doe provided the conversion with the halftime score 21-0. The third quarter opened up with the recharged Mustangs stopping the Razorbacks offense, taking over on downs deep in Razorback territory. The Green Defense saddled up and got a big defensive stand, with Kyle Baker, Colby Travis and Collin Gosselin delivering timely tackles up front, and strong pass defense on the outside

by Ethan Ford and Matthew and Derek Crowley stopping the aerial assault. Back on the offensive, Tommy Doe fired the afterburners and took off for a blistering 90 yard touchdown run, shooting like a cannonball through the defense and into the end zone to make it 27-0. Strong tackling by Patrick Madden and Colby Travis and the Razorbacks defense again denied the Mustangs offensive room to run and the provided the pigs with a turnover. Pelham running back Derek Crowley hit the gap like a missile, bursting through the B gap and breaking off a 60-yard sizzler for the final Razorbacks touchdown. Matt Jozokos ran the conversion attempt, weaving through defenders to break the plane and finish the scoring at 34-0. Closing out the game with strong defense by

Evan Haskins and Mason Belsky, the Razorbacks were able to preserve the shutout, grinding down the clock and securing the victory. Strong Razorback running closed out the quarter, punctuated by an amazing 4th down run by escape artist Charlie Katin, who slipped, swirled and scampered through the entire Mustang defense and reappeared just past the sticks, sealing the scoreless victory for the Razorbacks. The final regular season comes to a close next Saturday at Muldoon Park in Pelham, as the 7-0 Razorbacks take on the 7-0 Londonderry Wildcats in what has the makings of an epic battle. Razorbacks 5th Grade: Pelham Razorbacks 33, Londonderry Wildcats 0 The 5th Grade Pelham Razorbacks had the unpopular 8 a.m. game this past Sunday as they traveled to Londonderry to face the Wildcats. The Razorback defense stepped up first lead by Brandan Mercier and Riley Perrin forcing the Wildcats to turn the ball over on downs. Then on the first play from scrimmage, it was AJ Caggianelli taking a pitch left and followed key blocks by Cam Homsey, Tommy Emrick, Reagan Brunelle and Cody Stevens as he scampered 50 yards for the touchdown. Next it was Ryan Marotta following Blake Woekel and Thalan Berger for the conversion and a 7-0 lead. After holding the Wildcats again, it was Garrett Hitchens following huge blocking of Berger, Shane Regan and Nick Milano for a 40 yard touchdown run and a 13-0 Razorback lead. After the Razorbacks got the ball back again, it was hard running by Gannon Fast, Robbie Petrillo and Nate Binette following strong blocking by Nicholas Blake, Danny Dickey, Stevie Doe, Nicolas Torres, JJ Jepson, Manny Baisley and Jason Rutherford. Then Marotta took a sweep down the left side following key blocks by Jake Cragen, Tyler Blunt, Ian Morgenstern, Emrick and

Grade 3 Team: Lucas Baker touchdown

Caggianelli for a 35 yard touchdown. Deven “LT” Debay converted the extra point for a 20-0 Razorback lead. The Razorbacks would not let up as the defense lead by Stevens and Berger forced another 4 and out and then it was hard running by Brett Lindsay down to the goal line setting up an Emrick 2-yard plunge behind Shawn McAdam. Devyn Tucci pounded in the conversion for a 27- 0 lead. After Torres, Dickey and their defensive mates stooped the Wildcats again, it was Marotta following a crushing block by Lindsay for a long touchdown run and putting the game out of reach. Stevens followed with the first of his two extra- point kicks (worth two points at this level) thanks to the smooth snap and hold combo of Owen Haskins and Riley Millette. Emrick finished the scoring with his second TD of the day followed by a Stevens kick to bring the Razorbacks to 7-0 on the year and a showdown with Hudson to end the regular season.
