Business today has become a race to efficiency. Those companies who can become more efficient in managing their businesses will grow their bottom line. In this race to efficiency, PCOs need to set bench marks in which to measure improvement. When we consider the


measurement of sales, cost of sales and or profit, our actual results can be extracted from our profit and loss statement. Assuming that we have an accurate accounting system in place, these numbers can be compared to those set out in our budget or benchmarks and judged accordingly.
