Beautifully located on a picturesque, stepped hillside at the end of a short unmade country track,Ca’n Pulit is a charming stone cottage boasting some lovely views across the town rooftops towards the rural interior.On a clear day the views stretch even as far as the sea at the northern Bay of Alcúdia. It is an ideal hideaway for two people looking for privacy,while at the same time still being within walking distance of all amenities.


The house interior is furnished in an attractive rural style with the exposed stonework of the walls and floors lending the property great character.Externally a large terrace runs the length of the front and is a perfect spot for soaking up the sunshine during the day and dining al fresco in the evening.


Ca’n Pulit’smuch larger than average private swimming pool is a real feature of the property, as it has been very cleverly designed to drop away into blue infinity against the horizon when looked at fromeye level.


Fromthe house it is about a 15minute walk to themain square in Selva – a pretty, local farming town virtually untouched by tourism.Here you will find banks, grocers, a chemist, a bakery and two restaurants (both highly recommended to us by the locals).


Further afield, cosmopolitan Palma is within 35minutes, while the north coast beaches at Port de Pollença and Cala San Vicenç can be reached in about 25minutes via scenic country back roads.

Long cared for as their first home by its local owners,Ca Na Maria has become one of ourmost popular south-east houses. Located in a conservatively developed,semi rural location surrounded by almond and carob trees, the house offers well furnished, spacious and comfortable accommodation.


Families in particular have found the house facilities and location to be particularly convenient.Should youmanage to tear yourself away fromthe lovely private swimming pool you are very close to one of themost picturesque country beaches to be found on this side of the island.


As if this were not enough, you are only about a 15minute walk around the headland to the sleepy little cove of Cala Figuera where you will find supermarkets,bars and recommended restaurants.


This south-east corner ofMallorca is amost interesting area to explore, privileged as it is to some unpretentious little towns,unspoilt countryside andmany beautiful coves of white sand and translucent waters.Nearby S’Amarador (3km) is one classic example of the latter; however within a 20minute drive you will find several other similarly attractive beaches such as S’Almonia and Cala Llombards.


A 10minute drive takes you to the agedmarket town of Santanyi where amenities including shops,banks,bars, local restaurants and some interesting art and craft galleries can all be found.
