Immediately across the street an unmade path, leads down through scrubland to two little sandy coves where,over themain summer months, a convenient beach bar opens every day until late serving simple lunches, dinners, ice creams and cold drinks with occasional live entertainment provided by localmusicians.A pizzeria and minimarket are within 1.2kmwith themain harbour (2km) home to a good selection of amenities including shops,banks, a chemist, supermarkets and some very highly regarded seafood restaurants. Vall d’Or golf course is 6.5km, there are tennis courts in Portocolom and Cala’d’Or (14km) and popular boat trips leave fromthe local harbour to remote coves for lunch and a swim.

The large, shaped swimming pool with its own separate children’s section is surrounded by amature garden that looks out over the picturesque countryside,neatly criss crossed by the drystone walls so typical of the island.


Although peaceful and totally rural, the amenities of Ses Salines village,which include aminimarket and a local bar, are close at hand (just 5minutes by car) while the market town of Santanyi (5kmin the other direction) offers an evenmore comprehensive choice that includes two locally recommended restaurants.


The sparklingMediterranean Sea is very close at hand and it is undoubtedly a great pleasure to explore the many gorgeous sandy beaches which lie all along this pretty coastline.May we particularlymention the unspoilt country coves of Cala Llombards,Cala Figuera, CalaMondragó and S’Amarador,which each have an excellent reputation for being family friendly and are all within easy distance of this lovely property.
