Huerta Atienza Montecorto (Ronda) Map ref: C3 Web ref: 754 Sleeps 8 | 6 Bedrooms | 2 Bathrooms | Enclosed Pool
Situated in the countryside and surrounded by open fields and farmland, this smart country retreat has recently been restored to provide comfortable and attractive accommodation in an appealing location. Its position, between the historic town of Ronda and the prettymountain village of Grazalema, means that two of the region'smost attractive centres can both be reached in just under 20minutes by car and yet the property enjoys the pleasing sensation of space and picturesque views provided by its rural outlook.Your entrance to the house is via a neat terracotta tiled terrace, decorated by pretty walled flowerbeds and home to a stone table and benches that sit beneath a shady
tree.Fromhere, themain door leads the way to a spacious hall where exposed wooden beams, crisp painted walls and carefully chosen occasional chairs are a pleasing introduction to the beautifully coordinated and stylish rooms of this charming home.
Particularly appealing is the tower, added to the original building over the course of its restoration and set up as an informal reading roomwith windows on all four sides capturing the pretty rural
views.Another attractive feature is the enclosed courtyard, which is accessed through a door at the back of the living room and offers another pleasant venue for outdoor catering. Outside, a stone pathway leads the way to the swimming pool, which sits within a tiled terrace and looks out across open countryside. Just below it, an area of lawn provides additional space for sunbathing or for children to play.Whilst the house is in a rural location, it is within easy access of Ronda in one direction and Grazalema in the

El Nogal Ronda Map ref: C3 Web ref: 707 Sleeps 6 | 3 Bedrooms | 3 Bathrooms | Ball Games Court
Situated off an unmade country lane a short drive from the historic centre of Ronda, this attractive country home provides smart and comfortable accommodation amidst wellmaintained and thoughtfully planned grounds.
Its recent design ensures that the house enjoys all of the advantages ofmodern living, the fittings and appliances being up to date and carefully chosen. At the same time, the use of thick wooden beams, open stone walls and attractive archways adds an air of rusticity, the result of which is charming.
Nevertheless, guests will no doubt be tempted to spendmost of their time outside, since the gardens boast not only a pool, but also a children's play area and a court for games of 'paddle', a Spanish game similar to tennis but played on a smaller court. These activitiesmay be supervised fromthe terrace that flanks the front of the house, to the side of which sits an in-built barbecue and a shaded patio.
A 10minute drive fromthe house takes you to the lively town of Ronda, with its wealth of ancient buildings and wide selection of cafés and restaurants serving local
fare. The coast at San Pedro de Alcántara can be reached in 45minutes,whilst for those who wish to sample the cultural gems of Sevilla, Granada and Córdoba, all three cities are an appealing option for a day trip.
