El Puig Verd Aigua Xelida (Tamariu) Map ref: D5 Web ref: 173

Sleeps 7 | 4 Bedrooms | 4 Bathrooms | Air Conditioning | Table Tennis Wi-Fi | Heated Pool | Beach 950m

Tucked away in a sheltered corner abutting woodland, this traditionally built house enjoys sweeping rural views over pine clad hillsides, yet is only a 20minute walk downhill to the pretty cove beach of Tamariu, with a good selection of seafront bars and restaurants.Bustling Palafrugell with its dailymarkets is a 10minute drive away whilst Begur with its castle and narrow streets is close by.

With extensive use of wood and ceramics, a spacious and comfortable interior is set off by an eye catching wide curving staircase sweeping down fromthe top entrance above, past bedrooms on the first floor to the living area and kitchen below.

Designed verymuch with a country‘masía’ inmind, but with lightmodern touches, the handmade cupboards and tiled worktops of the kitchen blend tastefully with the cherry wood doors and light ceramic floors throughout the house, and as the emphasis is verymuch on outside living, patio doors fromthe living roomopen onto a choice of terraces.

Further around, the wide swimming pool deck within the garden area enjoys lovely views. To complement the natural surroundings of the area, the subtly coloured pool adjoins one side of the house and facing south-west benefits fromthe best of the late afternoon sun which often sets spectacularly behind the hillside opposite.
