Strummerz Guitar This energetic class teaches chord technique from the fi rst day, so students are quickly able to play songs they know from the radio. Many students enjoy singing along with this popular curriculum. Students will also learn proper technique and good rhythm; all enhanced by the joy of learning with friends! Tri County Special Recreation Association is a not-for-profi t cooperative of the Lemont Park District, Lockport Township Park District, and the Village of Romeoville. The association provides year-round recreation and social opportunities for individuals with disabilities or special needs. Our association serves as an extension of each member community and is committed to providing comprehensive recreation opportunities for all of their residents.

Tri County Special Recreation Association is committed to providing new and challenging leisure and recreation activities for all of our participants. We recognize that a park district or recreation department program may better serve an individual’s needs. Tri County Special Recreation Association works with our member agencies to assist individuals with making the transition from special recreation to these programs. Our professional staff can help you choose an ap- propriate program, provide referral services, conduct any necessary staff training, secure support staff, or supply adaptive equipment or communication devices.
