Day 7: Jaipur to Udaipur, by flight. Fly from Jaipur to Udaipur, a kaleidoscope of fairytale palace, lakes. temples, and narrow lanes.
The Oberoi Udaivilas: Standing on the banks of Lake Pichola facing Udaipur, with views across the water to the 17th Century palaces of Jagmandir and Jagniwas. Udaipur took ten years to build. A pristine version of an original Rajasthani Mewari moated palace, Udaivilas incorporates every conceivable modern comfort. Visual treats include open air colonnades flanked by 450 hand-carved stone columns. Domes covered in gold leaf. Hand-painted murals, arches, and fountains. Landscaped terraces and acres of white marble. A decorative pool of giant marble lotus flowers and a superb banyan Tree Spa. Rest of the day free. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8: Udaipur. Morning sightseeing of the city including a visit to the City Palace, the Museum, the lovely royal gardens- Saheliyon ki Badi. An evening cruise on Lake Pichola. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 9: Udaipur to Mumbai, by air. Transfer to airport to board flight for Mumbai for overnight stop. Time at leisure to explore Mumbai affectionately known as ‘Bollywood’, the largest film making industry in the world. Time to leisure to explore the delights of Mumbai.
The Oberoi, Mumbai: The hotel boasts a selection of fine restaurants and it’s own shopping arcade housing 250 stores offering a wide variety of luxury goods from clothes and jewellery to art and antiques. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10: Depart Mumbai. Transfer to the airport to board your onward flight.
