Stamford Children’s Christmas Party


A group from St George’s are once again hosting and organising the Stam- ford Children’s Christmas Party for those children in Stamford who have had a difficult year for whatever reason. There are two parties, both at Christ Church on 17th Decem- ber, one from 11.00am to 1.15pm and the other from 2.30pm to 4.45pm.


200 children will enjoy fun, games, food and Fa- ther Christmas.


Volunteers from previous years have really been blessed by helping, so if you would like to join in, there are lots of ways you can help. Look out for sign up sheets in church, which start by asking for help with fundraising bag- packing at Morrisons on

Pioneers for Lincolnshire Prayers needed!


For the last year I have been par t of an ecumenical pioneer group for Lincolnshire that plants Churches and wo r k s wi t h a l l denominations, led by Pete and Kath Atkins (who led the Mission Shaped Ministry course.) They are currently bui lding a prayer community to support the work of the Pioneers and to pray for revival in Lincolnshire and would love to hear from anyone who would be happy to find out more about it and receive prayer requests.
