Whether it be through organizations she is involved in or through her golf course, Windham Country Club, Joanne’s generosity shines through. The topaz stone went to Patricia Corbett The Topaz represents success. Patti is described
by her peers as innovative, highly motivated and task oriented. She was the recipient of the “New Hampshire Excellence in Education” Award in 2006. She was honored for her commitment
to her students and her skill as a facilitator. As Chairwomen of the Salem School Board, Patti has provided strong leadership and energy as she chairs meetings and works cooperatively and communicates regularly with the Superintendent of Schools. She brings many suggestions and recommendations for curriculum improvement and gives constructive input to the Professional Development Programs. Patti’s dedication to children and her energy level is endless. She sees tasks through to completion when no compensation in involved.

A diamond in the rough is a young woman of good character and quality that emulates leadership and community involvement. Katherine’s community service projects include: volunteering at Lowell General Hospital, Challenger Baseball, serving turkey dinner, NHS tutor, basketball tournament cashier and tutoring an autistic girl. Katherine takes a leadership role I her school, is ranked second in her senior class, and has been Class President for the last three years. Her ability to balance her call load, clubs, a part-time job, and various community activities is amazing. Her drive and appetite for success is unmatched.
The Mother of Pearl award winner Mary Griffin The Mother of pear represents faith, charity, and integrity. Mary’s peers describe her as someone with extraordinary compassion and caring. Mary is currently a New Hampshire State Representative and has been an advocate for the state of New Hampshire for many years. She was awarded the Joseph D. Vaughan award for Rockingham County. This award is given to someone who has shown outstanding leadership and demonstrated meritorious achievement as a volunteer on behalf of older citizens in New Hampshire. Mary’s dedication to public service in unmatched. It has been her life calling to help wherever she can and to put a smile on the faces of old and young. She will also be receiving an elegant pearl pendant donated by Nasar Jewelers.
