This class introduces students to the fundamentals of pure egg tempera technique. Learn the various stages involved in this fascinating process, including the preparation of the painting ground, creation of traditional gesso, sourcing, preparation and application of various pigments. You will be carefully guided through the various stages of this process and shown how to create various luminous effects.
