Editorial thanks
This year has seen the sub-editorial team grow to the huge number of twenty boys, all of whom have been invaluable in their kind support and gritty determination to make the QEH magazine something to be proud of.
My thanks go to Tom Pearce for his stalwart and focused extraction and refining of rugby reports; to Jack Calway for his sweet touch with recalcitrant football writers; to Ed Blancke for being so cheerful in the face of so many demands upon his time; to Matt Fox for successfully delving into the QEH Old Boy archives; to Harry Conquest for his generous and astute Creative and Library editing; to Nick Marsh for handling the cricket reports with confidence; to Jacob Warn for his tireless enthusiasm in the search and following of a good lead; to Leo Miller for his ability to cut incisively through the Travel section; to Alex King for slicing through swathes of rugby ramblings; to Will Pearce for his energetic Outdoor pursuits; to Tiff Andrews, who quietly restrained the more effusive football captains; to Matt Gardner for delivering a great staff article; to Josh Hodgson for the most focused approach to photography; to Zak Tobias for his enthusiastic contributions to brainstorming sessions; to Joe Goodsall for his witty comments and liaison with Mrs Rutherford; to Will Holdsworth for gentlemanly and gentle editorial suggestions; to Christian Holland, who takes the prize for tardy report delivery; to Alex Thomas for being a generally good egg; and finally to Pat Krause for being ever willing and for trying to deliver to deadline.
Further thanks must go to Lucy Taylor for once again providing the diverse and colourful material with which to create the Junior Section and to Andrew Lewis-Barned for his great range of photographs and his unswerving help in all areas, particularly in the realms of advertising.
With this great team it is possible to achieve great things. I hope that their efforts are duly rewarded.
