With the weather just about holding up, yet another successful Sports Day went ahead for QEH. Boys from all years, including those Year 11 and Upper Sixth boys who were already on study leave, took part in a competition that went down to the wire. It was only the final relay results that separated Carr’s from the rest of the field as the eventual House winner. There were many high level performances from pupils in each year, with the performance of the day going to Sam Rees in Year 9 for breaking the 100 and 200 metre sprint records for his age group.
