A

Alice dreams of being teen queen teenager from Abbots Langley is urging

locals to get behind her bid to be crowned a

national beauty queen. Alice Norris, 16, is competing in the Miss Teen

Queen contest and is looking for votes to get her through to the national final. The Kings Langley School student said: ―My

passion is singing, dancing and drama, in fact, anything to do with performing arts. Modelling is something I have been interested in for a while and a path I would like to take in the future. I entered the competition after a friend of mine took part and told me all about it. ―I thought it would be a great opportunity and

lead me in the right direction in how to get a career in modelling. My first taste of modelling was with our local photographer Hoss when I was 13 and I've loved any opportunity I've had

since.‖ Alice‘s proud mum Louise said: ―This is the

first contest Alice has entered and we‘re really proud of her. We are all keeping our fingers crossed that she gets through to the final and hope local people give their support to a local girl.‖ Alice has been chosen to represent the local

area and now needs enough votes to get through to the live finals in London next year. Log on to www.teenqueenuk.com and look

for Alice‘s photo on the page labelled '2012 Teen Queen Heats'. This page will give you instruc- tions on how you can vote for her. Voting starts 1st October at 12pm and ends at 11.30pm on 15th October.
