anzania: 16,600 children and their families


Childreach International works with local communities within the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania to re-build schools and to improve education outcomes for students from primary schools and vocational training centres. Our country office opened in April 2009 and is led by local staff who have valuable experience working with local communities on the ground. Today we run 21 projects mainly focused on health and education.


India: 62,500 children and their families


Childreach International opened a local office in Delhi in 2010. Our local office is running 11 projects working with project partners who are dedicated to improving children’s access to education, health, child rights and protection, in both urban and rural areas tackling important social issues such as gender inequality and community displacement.


Bangladesh: 98,800 children and their


families Childreach International has been working on two projects to reduce the number of children and women trafficked through the Jessore and Shatkhira districts and into India and Nepal.


6 Nepal: 102,540 children and their families


Childreach International opened an office in Nepal in April 2010. This year we are working in partnerships with grassroots organisations to run 11 diverse projects. Many of our projects focus on improving the lives of children in remote and rural communities of Nepal. Also, a number of our projects aim specifically to address social issues such as gender inequality and social stigmas relating to marginalised children (including those with disabilities or survivors of abuse).


Cambodia:


4,600 children and their families Childreach International is working with midwives on the ground in the Takeo province. They are working day in, day out to provide essential maternal and child healthcare, ensuring mothers and their infants are safe and cared for during both pre and post pregnancy.


Occupied Palestinian Territories:


6,500 children and their families Childreach International works in the West Bank of Palestine, specifically in and around the city of Hebron. We work directly with three project partners, running projects which aim to help rehabilitate and educate children who have been affected by the occupation.
