Days in Kruger National Park, South Africa Your day will start with a wake up call at 5am followed by an early morning snack. We then head off for our morning game walk, which will bring us back to camp for brunch after 3 to 4 hours. You then have a few hours to relax at the facilities of the camp. In the afternoon we head off again on our evening game drive, which will take about 3 to 4 hours. Returning to the camp, we share our day’s experiences over a pre-dinner drink, followed by dinner at the lodge.
Day of Departure, South Africa On the day of departure you will still enjoy one last walk. Sniffing the typical scents of the bush you’ll realize how much you’ve learned already! After breakfast it’s time to pack up and we say our goodbyes and transfer you back to the city.
Day of Arrival, South Africa On the day of arrival you will be collected from your hotel at first light and transferred to the reserve. The journey takes approximately 6 hours with stops along the way. You will meet your ranger at our lodge, which is located in the Greater Kruger National Park, South Africa. Depending on your time of arrival, we enjoy lunch together before embarking on our afternoon / evening activity.
4 or 5 day Walking Safari through the Greater Kruger from Johannesburg: This lodge accommodated walking safari through the Greater Kruger National Park gives you the opportunity to follow the routes of the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino) and other animals by foot to get the closest view possible. The itineraries of the safaris are very similar, each day adding on to your time in the bush and your chances of seeing that favourite animal, bird, insect or snake!
