• His 72 three-pointers (fifth), 571 points (eighth) and .434 3-point per- centage (seventh) all rank in the top-10 on the single-season charts.
• During the historic NCAA Tournament run, Burgess averaged 15.7 points (second on the team), 7.0 rebounds (led the team) and shot .484 from the floor (led the team). His 17 3-pointers were also tied for the most on the team over the unforgettable six game stretch.
• Became the third Ram in the past four seasons to surpass the 1,000-point plateau in his junior season, the other two are now in the NBA (Larry Sanders in 2009-10 and Eric Maynor in 2007-08). He punched his member- ship card with a 14-point performance in VCU’s double-overtime victory at Dela- ware on Feb. 9.

As a Sophomore
• Showed the ability to play the forward position, tallying his first three career double-doubles. He reached double- digits in rebounding on four different occasions.
• Reached double-digits in 18 of 36 games, including a career-high 30-point performance in a loss at Drexel on Jan. 6, where he connected on 9-of-14 from the field and a perfect 9-of-9 from the charity stripe.
• Increased his point-per-game total by three points, his rebound per game by nearly two and more than doubled his amount of blocks from his freshman campaign.
